PT Omadata Indonesia - Data Center in Surabaya has obtained ISO 9001:2008 Certification

PT Omadata Indonesia was officially awarded  ISO 9001:2008 certification on August 10, 2011 by United Registrar of Systems (URS) – UKAS, a certification board based in London, England.

This certification was awarded to PT Omadata Indonesia for successfully meeting the international standard for data center in product and services’ quality.  “The main focus of PT Omadata Indonesia is to become a qualified data center that prioritizes customer needs and satisfaction and this has been underscored by being ISO 9001:2008 certified.” said Bimelina Oetomo – Director of PT Omadata Indonesia.

This ISO preparation started in March 2011, and audit was carried out in July 2011 covering all parts of  the data center operations, i.e server storage, service to customer, physical security, infrastructure maintenance, monitoring system as well as troubleshoot process, all of which are the core service.  “The implementation process was conducted to the smallest detail.  All things concerning service quality, expecially the operational system of the data center itself were well observed and monitored.  Infrastructure security and maintenance must be fully controlled and well maintained.” explained Ronny Wibowo – Technical Manager of PT Omadata Indonesia.

As to Bimelina this certification strongly supports the business of PT Omadata Indonesia, which at the moment has more than 40 clients and partners.  She convinced further, “The most important thing is to keep committed and consistent to what has been the standard of ISO and to make continuous improvement to our product and service.”
